Student's outside the Hall Here are some of the students in front of Belsay Hall.
Belsay Castle The Castle can be seen from the bluebell wood.
Belsay Hall is an English Heritage site 14 miles N.W. of Newcastle upon Tyne.

On May 16th 2007 15 student's came on the Summer term Mini Bus Trip, which was made possible with the help of Teesdale Community Resources.

Concessions for groups and over 60's!   .....and excellent restaurant.

Every two years the Hall hosts an exhibition of contemporary art, this year it focused on art and film.

Electric art work How does it work? Quarry Gardens In the quarry gardens were many beautiful plants and lovely walk ways.
Silver statue Rocking horse Strange video screen Greek room
From L. to R. Silver statue, Pauline, Debra and the large rocking horse, a strange video screen and a room full of Greek statues.

This was great Room full of cups etc wardrobe Video projection
From L. to R. This bed was great, cups and saucers, the wardrobe was not all it seemed and the video work was surprising.

Love the art or hate it?  What did the 'Education in the Community' art students think?

Everyone had a great day out and it raised discussions of what art could be and made us aware of what artists were doing now.
