About Anne Mason

Anne  Mason

Living in a pine wood in central Teesdale between moor and river she cannot help but be inspired by the wildlife and landscape that surround her.

She began to paint at an early age, mainly birds and other wildlife subjects and qualified as a Natural History Illustrator in 1988. The Natural History developed into an interest in landscape painting, particularly views of Teesdale, The Yorkshire Dales and The Lake District.

Anne exhibits her work regularly and opens her studio on selected weekends during the Summer as well as taking part in the Teesdale Artists' Network 'Open Studios'
